On each block is a Christmas picture and the three initials of the person I'm sending it to.  On the bottom is the year.  As the babies came along, I made each one of them a block but with their birth year on the bottom.

 angel 1991
an angel, of course....no initials or year this time....not a good idea so I didn't do that again

1991

Thought I'd try my hand in another medium.  On the front were the initials and on the back the year...green for boys and red for girls, of course.

1997
bell 1997

I put green clappers in the bells for the boys....the finished product had a red or green ribbon around the top with initials and year

2000

In 2000 I made everyone fancy crocheted stars.  For my three children, I made three dimensional stars to put at the top of the tree.  All the rest were simply flat but fancy.  The ribbons from the top had the initials and year.

2003
03 Xmas

again tried a different medium because I couldn't figure out how to crochet a sled and it seemed so appropriate.  Didn't like this idea too much so haven't slipped out of crocheting since.

2008
Christmas tree 2008

individual trees for each.  However, this year was the first year I had married grandchildren so I made a big tree in the same pattern, about 9 inches tall, for each household, sitting on a wooden base with tiny packages around the base.

penguin 2009

These got a lot of comment.  Each one was in the favorite color of the person who got it.  The little ones loved to play with them while I was working on them.   One got lost and later found out in the front yard a little the worse for wear.  I love it when they like to play with them.

2010

M&M back2010 M&Ms

When they came out with the Christmas colored M&Ms, I got this idea.  Each person in a family had a different color, and each had his own favorite color.  On the back is a wreath with the initials and year inside.

2011

These little guys had faces and clothing on the front and the initials and year on the back.  This same year I made crocheted gingerbread houses for each of the households.  They were about 8 inches tall and had many Christmas decorations on each like lights and wreaths.

[candles]

I had about 20 of these made and lost them!! so I started all over again and this time they were better.

2013

[cardinals]

Everyone loved these.  I had something else almost ready but then had an epiphany and made these in about a week.  I love birds, especially cardinals
